Pictures of My Vibroplex Morse Code Key

This morse code key is called the Vibroplex bug, with its signature bright red bug embossed on the label (some red color is still visible after 66 years). It was made by the Vibroplex Co. of New York and is the Champion model. It is serial #118,998 which dates it to early 1942. This was a popular design intended to increase the speed of keying and reduce the occurance of carpal tunnel syndrome. The base is solid and heavy steel with a black crackle finish, most of the parts are chrome plated.
